Directing
Over more than four decades as a director, actor, educator, and mentor, I have specialized in bringing classical theatre to life through dynamic, accessible, and engaging productions. My work spans Shakespeare, Greek tragedy, and Greek comedy, directing large and diverse casts while balancing textual integrity with creativity, humour, emotional depth, and compelling storytelling. From A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Randolph Performing Arts Academy to The Trojan Women/Lysistrata at the University of Toronto, I create collaborative rehearsal environments that inspire artistic excellence and fearless exploration. As an educator, I am passionate about telling stories that performers to connect authentically with complex classical texts, fostering confidence, discipline, and imagination and resonates with audiences on a human level. My work reflects a commitment to artistic excellence, and provocative storytelling with joy, humour, and dramatic resonance.
